what i've been up to

we had our iftar at nearby restaurant, our favorito! initially we thought of going after maghrib after some drinks & kurma at home, but dear husband changed his mind. he never had his iftar at food outlet here before so he had no idea how's the crowd gonna be. It's better that we head to the resturant right before iftar, which turned out to be a wise idea. It was crowded, more than usual...meriah uolls! even with the larger crowd, the service was excellent! kudos to all the staffs!

i baked choc muffin the other day. okayyy finee....it's the betty crocker muffin mix, tinggal i mix & bake jerr...hehe.. it turned out ok..husband like it, in fact he had most of it while i had only 1cup! this is the thing...bake banyak2 pun takde sapa nak makan sangat pun. teringat my bros at home, usually it's them who finish up anything their dearest sister made..i miss y'all! i keep passing these muffins to the guards, to the house cleaner..suka jerr diorang (kerr korang buat2 suka eh?? sedap aperr...hehe!) i bersemangat nak bake & kukus kek hari tu sebab hehe...husband finally bought me the baking tray, 2 cute one. petang tu jugak mak bake muffin & kukus kek uolls!! yes, i buat kek kukus coklat jugak right after i bake the muffin (haaa..this one is my own mix, resepi mak saya! ;>). tak ambik gambar pulak..ada lagi berbungkus dengan aluminium foil dlm fridge. well this kind of cake, the longer u keep it the tastier it is.

a friend just pass me an easy peasy (well, seems like it) cookie's recipe this afternoon. i thought of baking the cookies while husband watch liverpool match on the telly tonight. but the thought of the large amount of cookies yet when it's only the 2 of us, stopped me. well...maybe not tonight...esok lusa mungkin. owh...i also have that banana cake on mind, husband bought the banana already. This i can serve during iftar that we might gonna host next weekend.

note* i made few calls home this evening, terubat rindu!! rindu sangat2!!


note** husband seems to have this weird habit; every time we head to the household shop, he'll be at this mugs / glass / tea set section. he'll browse that area, and NEVER fails to buy a / couple of mug home! asyik nak beli mug ajer kerja nya!! i had to stop him every time, kadang2 berjaya. but most of the time failed, hence the cute colorful mugs we have at home! i'll prove it here someday.
